The digital transformation and intelligent upgrading of the Garment industry have accelerated the transformation from "Made in China" to "Made in China", laying a solid foundation for the realization of the 2035 development vision and goals of China's garment industry.
Since its establishment in 2016, the China Apparel Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the "Alliance") has played an important role in promoting the independent innovation ability and core competitiveness in the field of apparel intelligent manufacturing in China, and led the industry enterprises to carry out a series of effective innovation practices and made outstanding achievements. In order to deeply summarize the progress of the alliance's work, jointly explore the development needs and directions of intelligent manufacturing and scientific and technological innovation in the industry, listen to relevant opinions and suggestions, help member units of the alliance to solve practical problems, promote collaboration and interaction among members, further promote the technological breakthroughs and innovation practices of member units of the Alliance, and promote the deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation, March 9, China clothing intelligent manufacturing technology Innovation Strategic Alliance 2025 annual meeting was held in Hangzhou Linping China Clothing Science and Innovation Research Institute.
Chen Dabeng, vice president of China Textile Industry Federation and President of China Garment Association, Cao Xuejun, former first grade inspector of Consumer goods Industry Department of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, member of the Expert Advisory Committee of China Textile Association, Feng Dehu, President of China Textile Planning Research Association and Chief supervisor of China Garment Association, Jiang Hengjie, consultant of China Garment Association and leader of the Alliance expert group, China National Garment Association consultant, deputy leader of the alliance expert group, Professor Wen Lisheng of Donghua University, China National Garment Association full-time vice president, director of the alliance work office Du Yanbing, China National Garment Association Science and Technology Department deputy director, deputy director of the alliance work office Han Jing, China National Garment Association deputy Secretary General, China National Garment Science and Technology Research Institute deputy dean Liu Zhengan, Members of the alliance expert group, heads of member units of the alliance and heads of clothing enterprises that have made outstanding achievements in the field of intelligent manufacturing and digital transformation attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Han Jing.
Intelligent manufacturing leads the future, innovation drives transformation
Jiang Hengjie, consultant of China Clothing Association and leader of the alliance expert group, said in his speech at the meeting that since the establishment of the alliance, through cross-border joint and technological innovation, it has successfully promoted the transformation of the clothing industry from traditional labor-intensive to intelligent and digital direction. Especially in the field of intelligent manufacturing of "three clothes and two pants", the alliance has made breakthrough progress, and some production lines have realized automated production, effectively alleviating the problem of recruitment in the industry.
Looking forward to the future, Jiang Hengjie put forward three key directions: First, to achieve less humanized or even unmanned intelligent production lines, to promote China from a clothing country to a clothing power; The second is to strengthen the application and management of data assets, relying on artificial intelligence (AI) technology to improve industry efficiency; The third is to coordinate the relationship between process technology and automation equipment to promote the intelligence of the whole process of clothing production. At the same time, he called for the strengthening of personnel training and the optimization of equipment cost performance to ensure the sustainable promotion and application of technological innovation results.
The past decade has been a critical period for the rapid development of digitalization, networking and intelligence in the textile and garment industry. Cao Xuejun, former first-level inspector of the Consumer goods Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and member of the Expert Advisory Committee of the China Textile Federation, pointed out in his speech that the alliance has promoted major breakthroughs in intelligent design, intelligent cutting, flexible production, smart supply chain and other fields of the industry through collaborative innovation, technology promotion and resource integration, and significantly improved production efficiency, product quality and international competitiveness. At present, the global scientific and technological revolution is changing rapidly, and the rapid development of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics has brought new opportunities to the industry. In the future, the Alliance should continue to deepen collaborative innovation, promote the wide application of artificial intelligence in intelligent design, production, testing and marketing, and accelerate the landing of technological achievements. At the same time, it is necessary to further strengthen the formulation and promotion of intelligent manufacturing standards, transform innovative achievements into industry standards, and enhance the international voice.
Du Yanbing, full-time vice president of the China Clothing Association and director of the Alliance work Office, briefed the alliance on the work under the theme of "Uniting the heart and building innovation and wisdom, and building a dream for the future down to Earth". He said that since its establishment, the alliance has always focused on the three major positioning of "information resource platform, collaborative research and development platform, and achievement promotion platform" to promote the development of intelligent manufacturing in the industry.
In the past ten years, the alliance members have grown from the initial 24 to 76, and relying on the alliance to set up the China Apparel Science and Innovation Research Institute, integrating relevant advantageous resources, and the strength and vitality of the alliance have been continuously enhanced. In terms of information convergence services, the Alliance carries out various forms of demand research, collects industry science and technology projects and excellent technical achievements, strengthens information services, and optimizes resource allocation. In terms of collaborative innovation, the alliance has formulated 9 group standards for intelligent manufacturing series, enabling the development of intelligent manufacturing in the industry; Jointly promote the intelligent production of "three clothes and two pants", and organize alliance members to jointly research and develop key technologies to lay a good foundation for the realization of intelligent manufacturing with few people or unmanned; The Alliance coordinated the promotion of science and technology project identification and award declaration, and set up 6 R & D centers in China Clothing Science and Technology Innovation Institute, gathered 147 experts, implemented more than 30 clothing digital transformation projects, and promoted the practice of scientific and technological innovation in the industry.
